What is the correct choke hot air tube

This is for my 72 442 with L77 (W30) with automatic. My engine assembly manual shows the looped one for use with the L77 but Fusick shows it was only used up to 71.

Should I be using this one:

http://www.fusickautomotiveproducts....umber=CTB70/05

or this one:

Harv, is yours a 72 and do you know if it was the tube installed at the factory?

Mine is a 70, but I had a 72 VC, and it had the same.

ILT Part #OCE7205 is apparently specifically for the 1972 442 455 cid either AT or MT.

They show the other 350 & 455 (1970-1971) illustrations but unfortunately they don't have an illustration for the OCE7205. You could call them if interested in pursuing.

This looks just like the OCE7004 but it is stainless vs OE steel.

So it looks like the U bend is the correct type for 72.
