Water Temp Gauge

Hey guys. I am installing gauges on my 72 Supreme and was wondering if I could use the DVCS port for the electric water temperature sending unit? I am going to delete the DVCS anyway since I am not using it. If not, I am just going to remove the sending unit for the idiot light.

Thanks.
Will

I don't see why not, its a port into the coolant flow.

The gauge sender needs to be in flowing coolant, so any port in the crossover at the front of the intake is fine.
