Valve pinging???

I have a 1972, 442 clone just had a 1968, 455 rebuilt bored 30 over eldebrock performer intake and a 750 eldebrock carb, and had the motor dyno tested and I can not get the valves to stop rattling. Any body have any suggestions?

Are you talking rattling, ticking, clattering, or pinging?

If it sounds like it's under the valve cover check to see if the rockers have not come loose. I have had my roller tip rockers come loose on me before.

Is it constant or only under acceleration or when going up a hill, under a load?
