Using BB Exhaust Manifolds w/ Cam
Anybody have any experience using a cam like Lunati/Mondell JM22-25 with the big block reproduction exhaust manifolds? The cam is .512 intake lift, .520 exhaust. I've used that cam w/ headers several times with very good results. But now I'm thinking about manifolds because headers are a pain! The engine is a 455.

I used these specs with factory W and Z manifolds and worked great!
289/299 advertised duration
231/237@.050
Lift will be .563/.560
On a 112 lobe sep.
Cutlassefi will be able to answer this well. I would recommend giving him your information on what you have and what you want to accomplish and use the cam he recommends. He is VERY good and trustworthy.

I did have a roller cam. I believe you can get away with a little bigger cam when running a roller. I would for sure contact cutlassefi before spending money. He is a GREAT source for information with lots of hours of dyno testing under his belt.
My compression came to 9.8 on this build with Wiesco pistons .30 over. On the dyno with exhaust manifolds I had 427 HP and 511 Torque. Still ran A/C and power brakes.
