used hood hinges or after market???

used hood hinges or after market???

i bent both of my hood hinges 2day and im not sure if i should buy aftermarket or find used originals, what do you guys think?? im pissed my original were perfect!! i put my original hood back on and it fell and bent the tip of both hinges

Go get 2 off a beater and blast and powdercoat them.
It's the cheapest method IMO.

I just did this on my 78Z and my hood has never closed as good as it does now.

I have a pair of new repro hinges, no springs, for 69-72 from The Parts Place.
I bought them about 2 years ago when I was going to convert my '68 to newer hingees because I could not find a LH '68.
One turned up one soon after. One hinge has a few test fit scratches between on the side between the fender and hinge.
I would like to get $100 plus shipping for both. Save you some, and recoupe some loss for me. FYI, I am in Northern Virginia. Thanks
