UPDATE: On my 57 Super 88 Partial rebuild

So last i posted here was maybe over a year ago.
purchased car from MI - car smoked a bit and i didn't feel comfortable with it.

I had the motor out and sent to rebuild. along with the org trans. which i believe had never been opened up before. both items came back and installed no problem.
- had power steering sent out and rebuilt.
- had rebuild on rochester carb.
Everything went back in but tuning and running has never been the same.
its drivable but just not 100%

so fast forward to today. believe carb needs to go. si i called up summit and ordered a Holley 600 and adapter plate.
i know linkages will be to be configured. but does anyone know how much of a pain in the *** that may be?

also, while i am at it. i think i want to add AIR RIDE or new suspension because even though i replaced shocks, if i hit a hard enough pot hole. i feel like i hit the ground. anyone have a recommendation for a good air ride or suspension company?
i like to just call one place and have them just send me whats needed.

I saw someone added a post on here for new disc brakes, so i also reached out to
sales@scarebird.com for suggestions....maybe ill hear back?

well thats it for now. i hope the new carb getting installed and tuned properly will solve my rough running...

oh yeah and since the trans was overhauled, i believe i need to have the readjusted after the motor is tuned..

thanks for reading and thanks for all the kind people who help guys like myself...

-cheers
