You should see some of the student's models I work on at the college. These are some of the better ones. These kids pay tens of thousands of dollars for tuition.

They had to label it in very large letters to let everyone know it is/was a Camaro...

No, it's a Camaro. I should have taken a picture of the front, but I lost the ambition to circle it again. It had an expanded/ornamental grille cover over the Camaro front end. As far as the models go..... If that's what the future holds, I will never own a new car

Everybody's taste is different but that's just ridiculous. When I see a car that's overkill wrong, I think about the time and work/money involved and just shake my head. What a waste but that's JMO.

Apparently either you forgot or were not around in the late 70's, I present the Corvette Summer movie car.

I don't see much difference from these:

Sorry Eric, there really is a big difference... I personally am not a big fan of those G-Body ground effects, but IMO they do, for the most part flow with the basic style of the car... Also. they are bolted on and can be easily removed, unlike other vehicles referenced here... Like I said, JMO...

Oh man....they are related. I wouldn't want to be seen in either one, and I have low standards. Lol.

They ruined a rather nice Camaro . I don't know of anyone that could do such a thing. Maybe it was a rust bucket that needed flared fenders and skirting!!
Now the G-body, I couldn't own one with those ground effects, but I do see a couple here at our local car show and the kit does have good flow around the car. I looks OK in person . I'm just not a fan of that kind of bolt ons.

The G body 88 Hurst/Olds kit isn't bad except the front bumper valance should have angled towards the car, not away from it. That Camaro is original with a straight 6 with headers and duals, I would add a 390 Holley 4 barrel and intake. The exterior is OK, those years of Camaro, like most years of Camaro are plain compared to their Firebird cousins anyways. It kind of looks like the Fastback Barracuda but better looking. The interior is 70's velour awful, just like the custom van's from that time. Why in the hell did they not match the seats to the rest of the interior? It is like the guy who did his G body wagon on that site an awful green and wood trim decals for the sides, he spent a lot of money no doubt. He was going for the Griswold look I guess. I told him it was hideous and that was what he must be going for. He didn't agree but it looked awful then, still looks bad now.

The Corvette Summer car had the steering wheel on the right, but it looks damn close.

Ha. I was up in WI last weekend and a buddy had a card on his wall of this guy.
Local roundy-rounder Matt Lundberg.

I thought about Corvette Summer also when I saw that Camaro. Great minds think alike.
