Trying to identify distributor

Hey guys I have been wanting to replace my points distributor d a guy i know had a non points distibutor lying around and he gave it to me. I'm trying to figure out what exactly i have here. It does not have the cap on it. There are markings on the bottom that read

I can take pictures if needed. I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks

REMFG means it is a rebuild, so all bets are off unless someone here is familiar with the markings made by the various rebuilding companies.

REMFG = remanufactured

Look for the actual casting number and post it here. I can tell you what it's out of.

How many wires come from the dist base?
You will need to get plug wires for an HEI dist.

There are three wires coming from the base with a clip on the end.

Should be able to install it. set it for number one. get your HEI cap and rotor and plug wire set. Just tell the parts house you have a '75 455 for the parts you need. Pick up a 12 volt source that is key on only. make sure the 12 volt source does NOT come on when the key is on acc position. For the most part it should work. If you have no history of the dist. you may want a new module to install.
Set your timing for 10*12* or 15* what ever you think is good for you. I have found OLDS likes a little more timing above the factory spec. Go with what you feel is good.
