trunk lid opening

can someone tell what the opening measures on the trunk of a 68 cutlass, measuring from top of latch to lip of deck lid. i dont think mine is opening as far as it should, thanks

thanks i thought it was to low im only getting 26 1/4 from holding the tape on the top of the catch and the bottom lip of lid
