Treasure hunt
Decided to pull the interior out of my 1970 W-31 today as I will be installing gauges & a dual gate shifter over the winter.
I was rewarded for my efforts with $4.03 worth of loose change as well as a very nice center punch. More importantly I found a broadcast card affixed to the underside of the rear seat. I already had GM of Canada documentation for the car but still this is a great find.
Pleased to see that the floors are rust free save for a tiny bit of surface rust on the driver's floor. I think I will treat the car to some new carpet while I am at it & install that rear package tray that came with the car.

intake
Yes I did Dick. Thanks again for the lead. I paid him cash plus a SBO intake that he wanted for his collection. I have the intake here but am undecided as to its' use. I might install it on this original engine or I might use it on that experimental #2 block that I bought last year & make a big 500 cid SBO for this car. I also acquired a complete OAI air cleaner set up from Troy Thornton to replace the missing pieces on this car.
