Trans dipstick

Feel quite weird asking this, I can't seem to locate my trans dipstick. Found engine dipstick, searched around cuz I have a leak sna wanted to see what my trans level was looking like. But can't seem to find it, figured it would have be been in passenger side. Some info about the car, 455 w/tremec tko 5 speed, not sure if that changes location. Probably gonna crawl under there tomorrow to look for myself but wanted to see if anyone had the answer prior to that. Thanks.

Not as weird as it may seem, its not as obvious as you would think. Here is a pic under the hood of my 69. The trans dipstick is straight back from where the snorkel connects to the air filter housing. Funny you cannot even see it in my pic but its there....

Uhh, isn't that a manual transmission? If so, there is no dipstick. You have to unscrew the fill plug on the side of the transmission to check the oil level.

Oops, sorry about that. Fun71 is correct, don't know why I thought it was automatic.... Guess my mind never got past "I can't seem to locate my trans dipstick".
