Too much body work needed!!

Picked up my 68 442 about 2 1/2 years ago knowing it needed some work. Like everything else I get involved in, it needs more than I bargained for!
I now have a BTR built 455, (love it!), a Freddy Brown built th400, and a Brian Trick built 3.73 rear (both awesome!!). Now I have a situation with previous body work done on the car (before me owning it) that is poorly done. New floors that I could have done better when I was in 3rd grade!! New quarter panels with a fair amount of bondo in the door opening. Still needs trunk floor and both rear inner and outer wheel houses!! Why were wheel houses not done when quarters were off? STUPID!!!
Anyway, what I think might be best is to locate a "good" donor body if possible. 68 442 non-post, no a/c.
Am I dreaming or can I find one at a reasonable price?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You'll probably find a completed body for less than you'll pay to restore the one you have. The problem is 90% of the people out there do the same thing you did. They tackle the mechanical issues and leave the bodywork until last. This is the type of deal you need to look for:

This car is owned by a member here. If I remember right he bought it because he came across it by accident and it was a good deal. He told me he is pretty handy with metal and body work so he took it on. It looks like it's basically at a point where it needs to be blocked out and shot with the color of your choice. I've never actually seen the car but I sold him some parts for it. It's really not that far from you (less than 4 hours).

Thanks allyolds68, That ebay link you sent looks like what I need. I am trying to contact seller for possibly "buy it now". I noticed in the pics that all holes have been omitted for fender, door and quarter trim. Door and quarters have pins I think. Are there any way of fixing that?
Thanks again!!

Those 'pins' are special rivets, and available at body shop supply shops.

You can waste a lot of time and money on a rust belt car, and still watch it rust out again. Get a desert southwest car.
