too bright?

My 6-month engine rebuild odyssey is almost done. But...does this Olds gold look a little too bright? Maybe I'm just used to the 50 years of grime that was there before.

Looks fine to me. Is this going in a restored vehicle, or a modded car?

restored.
single exhaust '71 supreme and I'm keeping the 4bbl quadrajet. I'm not trying to pretend to be something that I'm not.

It will look better once the rest of the parts are installed.

Looks like it has too much yellow in it to me. The color should be Bronze not bright gold.

They aren't typically exposed to direct sunlight. It does seem a little too far towards gold though. How does it look in the shade?

Bronze is the color used for the '65 through '69 400 engines.

That looks like the VHT Gold Metallic. A good quality spray paint, just not close to factory correct.
