I am changing a non tilt steering column to a tilt steering on my 70 Cutlass convertible. The tilt steering didnt come with a shift lever so Im using the non tilt lever. The lever cannot go all the way in for me to install the pin. Im looking inside where the lever goes in and it seems to me that the shift lever must be different for tilt steering. Does anybody knows the shift lever is different or does anybody can sell me a tilt steering shift lever?
