Tic-Tac-Clock face replace

Anyone know how to remove the clock set arm or **** on the 1970 442 clock so i can replace the clear lens ??? Thanks. Greg

Here what I did:
Pull up on the **** & hold the stem with a pair of needle nose pliers.
Unscrew the ****.
