Switch

62 Olds 88 - Saw this on my wire diagram & do know ware to find it. Help

It is hiding inside your transmission, behind the electric plug, left side.

Is that switch not on the throttle linkage like the Abody switch pitch controler?

To my knowledge there is neither electrical downshift nor variable pitch stator on any 1962 Oldsmobile HydraMatic transmission.

I'm not even sure the baby Dynaflow used in the Buick Special had a switch-pitch in 1962, and Buick was experimenting with it at that time.

You'll find it on a 1964-67 Oldsmobile, which means that is not the correct diagram for a 1962 car. Olds didn't start using an electric solenoid kickdown and converter pitch system until the 1964 model year on the Jetaway trans.
