Anybody going to the swap meet in Portland Oregon this year? I haven't been in at least 20 years. I know there's more parts available here than will be at the swap meet. But I'm going with my brother and nephews so hanging out with them is part of the trip. It would be good to meet/say hi to anyone here that goes. Or I could even take up parts that I've got and anyone else is looking for. John

 

I would like to go but not sure if I will be able to or not. If I can go I will let you know it would be great to meet members in the area.

Been about 20 for me too. Maybe when I am focused on something? That way I don't drag home cool "stuff" I have plenty of "stuff"
Probably skipping this one.

I've been to the Portland Swap meet at least 20 times and its always been a fun getaway but man has it been lean for Oldsmobile parts. At least for me anyway. I did find a really nice 68-69 AM FM radio for my brother's 68 442 but its been lean pickings for me. Al

Will you be going this year? I agree, Oldsmobile parts are getting few and far between at swap meets. But its still fun to check out the car stuff and see what's there. The last several years I've been going to the Albany swap meet which is close enough to my location that I can get there and back plus still have time to see everything in one day.

 

I might. 6 hours from here in Vancouver. Not sure yet. Al

 

so far doing very well. Weather is horrible but still doing well. Always great to see old friends and customers.

Back home from the swap meet. Always a challenge dealing with the rain and all. But, was a great meet. We did well and saw many great old and made some new friends. Always nice to have old friends come say Hi and thanks for taking care of them.
