This is from a 75 Omega with 6 cylinder. According to the service manual it turns off the compressor if the system has less than 33% oil. I can't find a new one anywhere and don't want to use the old one. All new R4 compressors don't come with it. There is a similar switch available for the A6 compressor (pre-1975) but it looks different. Here's mine:
