Stolen GSX / Detroit area

Not an Olds, but such a car is not going to go unnoticed by the people in this forum.

That does suck. I will keep my eyes peeled as I'm always watching 68-73 GS cars.
Good idea to see if the storage place is liable?
Did a law enforcement report get filled out?
Was there any classic or other car insurance on the car? If not that is a hard lesson.

Given its estate status, I doubt it's "stolen". Someone in the family probably got to it first. Death and money bring out the worst in people; see it all the time.

I think there's a lot more going on than that guy says there is.

Bummer!

Reading the thread on the Buick site it definitely seems like the storage lot is liable.

I would say the big question is when was it noticed to be missing. If it was years ago sorry to say but that car is gone gone. That car would take a boat load of money to bring back so either it went to a person with big cash to restore or it got parted. Sad story all the way around.
