ive got some some good replies from everyone but I am still confused. Maybe I am not too bright so i will try and make this simple. I hooked what I thought was the right way to and it turned over.. the problem was it turned over in the ACC position and the on position.....

Ive got a 69 cutlass but the engine numbers are for a 77. Whoever had it before me moved the key off the steering column to the dash. Here is my question....

There are 4 wires behind the key going through the firewall. 1. is marked BATT (presumably means batter). 2 is marked ACC (presumably accessories) 3 is marked Ign (presumably ignition) and the last is marked ST (presumably)... WHERE THE HECK DO THESE WIRES GO?????
