STEERING WHEEL Question for 69-70 experts!

Looking to take off my 1969 Steering Wheel-(Gm Sport Wheel) and replace it with my favorite Steering wheel of all time. The Black Olds Sport Wheel that came on Rallye's and others from 70-72. I found one still new in the box but with a stickey residue on the rim. After checking out 50 more used ones it seems to be common. I'll be buying a re-pop that I saw that was nearly exactly the same and is advertised as such.. Will I need anything special to just swap these out. Any difference in the 69 vs 70-72 Steering Column? Or Horn Button issue's?
Thanks Guys for the Help!

The top end of all 1969-up steering columns in the RWD cars is the same, so the wheel fits just fine.

Thanks Joe that Helps allot.

Jamesbo sorry- I sold it just yesterday to a Corvette nut. It had a tiny small crack on the rim anywho but he begged me for it. He said it was the same one used in Old Vettes. I had no idea.

Actually, there are different versions of the three-spoke "wood" wheel. I'm pretty sure the Corvette version has a deeper dish than does the A-body/F-body version.

Joe-Dont know about any of that on the Steering Wheel. The Guy had a 67 Vette with what looked like the same exact wheel to me. His was in terrible shape. He called me to Thank me again for the Wheel and already installed it. Love helping out old School Hot Rodders. Vrrooom!

It might be the 68-up Vettes that use the deeper dish wheel. I'm certainly no Corvette expert, but I have seen the two different three spoke wheels side-by-side at Carlisle.
