Steering wheel nut

Just took the horn ring off my '63 Starfire and noticed there was no nut securing the wheel in place. Does anyone know where I could get one from?
Thanks

sorry, didn't see your post. PM me an offer and I'll mail it out, probably a couple of bucks to mail it. If you want tracking, tack on another buck.

Got the nut today but unfortunately it is too big. Never mind, worth a try. The search continues, thanks for your help.

I would just grab a measurement of your column bolt and measure the thread with a thread pitch gauge. Go down to your local hardware store and tell them to give you the exact dimensions that you need. Won't come off unless you tug on your steering wheel real hard

My parts manual doesn't go back to 1963, but a 63 manual probably lists the nut size and thread.

I don't believe it... just measured it and it's the same thread as a wheel nut!!!! tried one just to make sure and it fits, how dumb am I!!! Could have saved myself a fortune!!! My excuse is that I read somewhere that it was a special fine thread so I didn't check it just tried to locate one. I'm a happy boy now.

It's always the nut behind the wheel.
