Steering replacement in a 62 Full size

Hey all,

I'm going to have to pull out the steering box out of my 62 b-body and replace with a rebuilt. I already have a good core, but wondering if anything more common would bolt up or if there's a better option out there.

Not looking for correctness, just decent performance.

Thanks,

Justin

I guess I could check my Hollander interchange manual, but I think it only goes to '64. Hoping to find something that will work that is more recent.

Cheers,

Justin

Chip at Power Steering Services can rebuild your box with quick ratio gears. He does great work.

One more question, actually. The fiber part of the rag joint is trashed. What should I ask for at the part shop? I'm assuming this piece is used on other GM vehicles...
