Steering column

Hello everyone. I,m in need of someone who can repair a tilt telescopic column. It’s out of a 1965 Oldsmobile dynamic 88. Is The tilt and telescopic works okay. This type of column has a bell crank type of setup that has the signal unit attached to the column on the outer housing that extends thru the inside of the column. I have No experience on taking this type of column apart nor the special tools. Also in need of a replacement bearing for the shaft that connects to the rag joint. Any assistance on this project or someone who can repair would be greatly appreciated. My email address is hermandolison@yahoo.com.

search the web - there are numerous possible options

https://gmtiltcolumns.com/steering-column-parts/ is one I'm familiar with whom appears quite knowledgeable.

also: wayne@gmtiltsteeringcolumn.com another potentially good resource

Herm, If you are still looking... Chuck Schuster, who specializes in rebuilding tilt steering columns. He can be reached at 262-677-0477 or by email at: musclecarman1969@hotmail.com. He did my 66' 442 tilt wheel, and it came out beautiful!!
