Springs '70 CS
Like when i turned 50, my '70CS Convertible no A/C is sagging and is in need of new springs. The guy I usually take my car to wants to charge $175 for a front pair and another $175 for the rear, plus installation. I'm finding them on RockAuto for less, but only Front Convertible w/ AC or Front no A/C (and no mention of convertible), and, has anyone had experience with Moog. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Moog 5386 shows to be front, convertible, with ac. Compare the specs for the 5385 and the moog 6321 springs.

I've found this MOOG xref chart to be very helpful.

I replaced the front & rear springs on my '71 CS this past winter. I installed UMI Performance springs (in case you're interested in another option for springs). They were absolutely spot-on. Here's the current link (URL) for the spring set & the link of my installation. If you look through my thread, you can view the ride profile in Post #2.

Thanks for the input - it helped me decide. Time is my enemy, and they know the car - plus there really isnt anyone else around for miles except some kid who works out of his house, so I'm going with the original quote. But I appreciate the quick and honest feedback as always from this site.
