Sport mirror identification

I believe these mirrors are off a 1971 Cutlass. The date code looks like 1970 but what month? Thanks

There may also be an ink code stamped on the mirror, center top. That will tell the month and year of the glass. Its a Buick site, but I like the information on the link below to key out the 1971-72 sport mirrors. John

OH

MY

GAWD!

Would it have killed GM to just, oh, you know, print the DATE? Noooo. We have to have a calendar "clock" with raised dots that requires Indiana Jones to decode. Do you need a medallion with a crystal that has to line up with the sun at noon on the equinox? Geeze!

I count ten dots around the sundial. That would make it October manufacture.

The dots are dysfunctionally placed, so my count may be incorrect.

Yes, I wondered about the dots. They are 1971 mirrors then.
Thanks, Ken
