speedometer cable 1967 442
does anyone know what (where) or which side of brake and clutch pedal's the speedometer cable goes on? Mine is in the middle of them and I am pretty sure it does not belong there! I looked in my assembly manual and it was very vague and did not show me a thing!

I know were it comes thru the floor and the grommet. I need to know what side of the peddle arms it goes! my cable run between the brake and clutch arms and if I leave it there the speed o cable will get wore out.
