Speedometer cable routing

Having a tough time with any of my literature resources seeing how the speedometer cable routes down to the transmission after coming though the firewall. This on a ‘70 442 A/T. Does it go through the frame in oblong hole? Any pics or descriptions are huge help. Thanks!

Here are the two speedometer cable routing diagrams from the 1970 PIM. Sorry these are so faded. Hang in there I'm going to review a couple other PIM manuals to see if I can find better diagrams from 1971 &/or 1972 if the routing hasn't changed.

A little better in the 1971 digital copy. I have the paperback manual. Those should be spot-on. I'll have to snap a photo of each.

Perfect! Thanks….was missing images/details showing clip to firewall and then routing over e-brake cable before going to transmission. I greatly appreciate all the help here.
