Speedo gear help

I changed the rear gears on my 72 442 yesterday. My question is, I had a 273 gear and went to a 342 gear and kept the same 235/70/14 tires. What color gear and how many teeth on the gear to make my speedo right. It's around 10 to 15 mph fast. Thanks

I was thinking about doing the same gear swap. Is the performace difference worth the price of the swap?

It was around $1,200 for the gears carrier and installation. If your motor is built it's a must, but if not it does help quite a bit. I did it because I had to and for my future rebuild. Money well spent even though expensive.
