Southern Maryland's "28th Annual Coming Out Car and Bike Show"
It's finally getting to be that time. For anyone in the DC area that is interested, here's the link;

I went last year, but did not bring my cutlass because she's not a show car. I should not have worried. While several of them were show cars, most were just like mine...drivers. I was there helping my son's scout troop handle the set/clean up. There were 605 cars and it was a great day for everyone.
Just thought that I would put that out there.

I usually go that car show every year to look at the cars but have not had my cutlass in the show in years. That is the biggest car show in this area but there is usually only like 5 Oldsmobiles in the car show.

Yeah, I noticed that last year. That is some of the fun around here in southern Maryland. I seem to have one of the very few Olds in this area, so we turn heads where ever we go.
As to "Coming Out". I asked them about that last year because it seemed like such an odd name for a car show. They organizers told me it was called that because it is one of the 1st shows of the year, winter's over, and it's kind of a welcoming to everyone for getting their cars out of the garage and back on the roads.

Just thought that I would put it out there that the show yesterday went off great. There were well over 600 cars (even about a dozen or so Olds). There were so many that they had to start turning cars away at around 11am because there was no more room.
I wish that I had some pics to post but I was helping my son's boy scout troop (who were assisting at the show) and didn't have hardly any time to spare. We got there at about 7am and finished cleaning up around 5pm. It was 70 degrees and sunny with no wind. It was a perfect (if very tiring) day for a show.
