I was in the Los Angeles area this past weekend visiting family and stopped by this show, which was held at Yorba Linda Regional Park in Anaheim on Saturday. The cars in attendance were very nice, but I have to say that I was surprised at the low turnout, especially considering that this is southern California, the place known for its car culture and which has, like, a gazillion people crammed into an area the size of my back yard. We were there until about 11 a.m., which was when you had to arrive if you wanted your car judged, and I would say there were no more than about 25-30 cars. I don't know if that's typical, but it doesn't seem worth bothering to put on a show if so few turn out. My hat is off to those who did bring their car.

Nor Cal Olds had their show this weekend also. I did not go, my wife just had knee surgery, so took care of her. But, the show is also like the southern, show, not that many cars, probably about the same,25-35? Still fun the spend time with guys I know, and usually see something new, and they have a nice BBQ,Not sure why more don't show up?

 

Thanks for the pics..........I live in So Calif and didn't hear about this show, too bad, would have loved to go to it.

 

A lot of guys don't like to drive their cars much. I used to do that show in Yorba linda, it's a nice place.
