This is getting a little out of hand, lol. This don't count a couple other turbo systems that are all apart.
Counting the ones on the cars I have 8 turbo setups. Most of them are missing parts and need rebuilt

I have been up to his place 4 times now and will likely be there again in October. He lives about a mile from Thermo King headquarters and I am there for a service managers conference every October. I can go a day early and spend time with Jim. We email very regular. I am working on a couple projects to modernize a coupe problem areas that we have. This is what I like so much about these cars, if it don't work you make it work. Taking stuff apart that was not supposed to come apart and making new ways to make them work is great.
lol, That is the funnest part. The valve I am working on is a MAJOR trouble area for the future of Jetfire. Jim don't even have parts to fix it. There is a guy trying to reproduce the needed diaphragm but is still a long ways off. Even then it will still be prone to the same old problems from before. I have found a manufacturer that was willing to work with me and is making me an alternative modern valve. I have to machine some parts and then adapt it to the original valve. I am about 95% sure this is going to work and is going to be a major improvement over the original. It will also look very close to original. If this works I am going to make some more of them because there is no more known good ones left other than what are on cars with a working system.
This valve that I am working on will have to go to Jim to have him crimp it together.
