What is SPECS?
It's a pocket tool that was given to the Oldsmobile Sales people to assist wiht quick answers, and/or references to options/prices when assisting customers or when placing a factory order.

I would like everyone to know the electronic SPECS booklet for 72 is available on the site www.Wildaboutcars.com . I just happen to be one of the lucky ones who has an original SPECS booklet and factory vinyl holder the SPECS booklet and supplemental info came in.

When I was looking at this, I couldn't help but think that if something ever happened to me, no one in my family would really care about or know the significance of these original docs. So I thought I'd share this with you. These scans are for you - copy them, use them to further your knowledge. I will also be sending them to WAC to consider adding to their impressive accumulating stockpile of Oldsmobile Info. (BTW you should check out their Oldsmobile section - it has a massive amount of documentation and is still growing.

Here are some scanned images of what the Olds Salesman P. Scarofile's SPECS booklet contained. Note that many sales people made notes on their booklet and material as changes happened or they needed paper to write on.
