Some help with a few numbers please
#2
The block number should match the vin number in the dash behind the the windshield NOT the cowl tag. If the block number does not match the VIN then you are correct as in it was not originally from it.

First, your VIN of 332779Z115832:
3 = GM division = Oldsmobile
32 = model series = F-85 V-8
77 = body type = club coupe (2-door post)
9 = model year = 1969
Z = assembly plant = Fremont CA
115832 = assembly plant sequential number
Next, the number/letter series 30R20808: 3 = GM division = Oldsmobile; 0 = model year = 1970 (this means the engine you have is not original to the car); R = assembly plant = Arlington TX (further confirmation your engine is not original to your car); 20808 = plant sequential number of the car from which this engine was extracted. This number/letter series is found on a raised pad on driver side of the engine block, just below #1 cylinder. If you look at the casting number and letter on the front/middle of the engine block, that will tell you the engine size (probably a 350ci).
Now, the trim tag:
ST 69 = style/model year = 1969
33277: same breakdown as in your VIN, 3 = GM division = Oldsmobile, 32 = model series = F-85 V-8; 77 = body type = club coupe
BF = assembly plant = Fremont CA
00322 BDY = Fisher body number (has no relationship to the plant sequential number in your VIN)
TR 904 = interior color/material and front seat type = gold vinyl material with a bench seat
75 75 PNT = lower and upper body colors = aztec gold for both
01A = time build code = January (01), first week of that month (A), 1969.
The other numbers on the trim tag are unique to the Fremont assembly plant. As far as I know, to date no one has been able to figure out what they mean!
