530 to the wheels kinda horse power out of a stock block, heads, intake and QJet Pontiac 455
I commented on his video and he sent me a snotty message saying no one believes him that his car is 530 to the wheels or 600 to the crank but that it's setup for 1/4 dragging it just needs slicks.
If it really is packing 600 to the crank kudos to him. Just didn't think it was possible with clearly just head work and piston work? IDK
Awesome car though gorgeous. Been looking at getting another 77 T/A. It was my first car when I was old enough to drive.

So, is he about to launch it through the time portal that's located inside that storage unit?
If his crappy Poncho motor can make 530 at the wheels nearly stock, then an excellent Olds motor should be able to make 600 just by changing the air cleaner

The comment I don't believe is the 160+ mph with 3.73 gears. Not unless he has overdrive!
I did the math and without o.d., the motor would be turning almost 7800 rpm with a 26.5 inch tire. Little past the redline for a poncho 455

I laugh at the T/A one because all I can think of is that scene from Old School when Will Ferrell is in his driveway revving his engine in "ol red", and his new wife comes out and she has that 'what the hell' look and says "That's really loud" - and Will Ferrell looks up and says "Yeah...Thanks" -
