Side Mirror Issues

Hello Guys,
I was wondering if anyone can share a solution to my problem. The driver side mirror of my '64 Jetstar1 easily moves and becomes unusable at higher speeds. I see a couple of set screws, but these are tight and they have no affect on the stability of the mirror. Any other tricks or suggestions?
Thanks for your help. Mark

The socket is simply swaged over the ball. There is no adjustment. Over time the swaging loosens up. There is no easy fix for this, short of replacement. I did see a tip once that suggested squirting super glue in between the socket and ball fitting. This is not a permanent solution, however.
