Both!!

The wife has been wanting a place to put her ironing board for some time now. I decided to make a hook to hang on the inside of a closet and got a little out of hand. About 4 hours of laying out, bending , shaping and welding you get a custom iron holder with bottom hook to hold the board.

That should buy you at least a week of quiet time out in the garage.

honey do

My wife gave up giving me a list. After 2 days of not doing what she asked. I would tell her, you don't rush into these things. So now she just says when you get the time could you do this for me. Works better that way.

I am glad my wife doesnt read the Olds board!!! My problem is that between my father, friends and I we can pretty much do anything. My wife takes this for granted and thinks its easy and shouldnt take any time or cost anything...lol The good thing is, she understands when I need to go help freinds and get away from my projects around the house.

From where I sit Richard your skills don't need any help

What I was trying to point out was for the time invested, you'd be better off flipping burgers at Mc Donald's

Put if you want to turn it into a "learning experience" It was time well spent.

Were is the custom paint job? I expect to see flames, etc on your next post Richard, otherwise it's not finished yet

I am facing new granite counter tops and refinsihing the cabinets in the kitchen. As long as you own a house your honey do's are never done. And remember 10 atta boys are wipped out by one aw Sh#t.

Anybody could do that.

Use the hood of the car for an ironing board and you could spend even more quality time together.

No engine turned polished stainless?
Rob would build an electric iron from scratch, and it would have Rally Pac gauges too.

I've installed a bunch of those built-in type ironing stations with the board, receptacle, clothes hanger rod.
The women insist on having the things in new and old kitchens and laundry rooms just like grandma had at the big house and can't live without them.
I'll go back to the houses to do a job a couple of years or more later and nine times out of ten I'll open the door on the front to check it out and the shipping plastic is still on the ironing board.
