Seafoam Results

Tried some Seafoam to clean carbon build up on my pistons. Ran 4 cans in a tank of gas and I must say I'm impressed with the results.

Water down the carburetor helps too.

Excellent!

I used Sea Foam as a fuel additive in my 96 98. It seemed to work ok and stabilized the idle. I think removing the injectors and desludging the throttle body would have done a better job. But for a $15 investment and a fuel filter swap I was doing anyways... 🤔

On the before pic almost the entire dish was carboned up. Looks to have removed about 80%. Going to run 2 more cans in the next tank full to hopefully get the remaining cleaned off. Previous owner only drove the car 400 miles over 5 years and when I bought it the choke was always on so when he did drive it it was pig rich and never revved out.

Yep, 4 cans in a full tank. Car ran fine with that mix.
