Scored a couple of goodies today😀
So I got a text from a PO of my '72 U code Supreme today. He was sorting out stuff in his mother's garage and came across these.
Yes, that's an original body service manual in hardback! When's the last time we saw one of those? The Chiltons manual will also come in handy.
Now, here's the icing on the cake. Check out the stamp in the body service manual.
The car was originally purchased in Boulder, Colorado. This tells me that the book had been with the car since new. Pretty cool, huh?
Now, if he can only find the Protecto Plate...

The FBM is a nice find although I doubt the Boulder Public Library was an OEM supplier. The Chilton's guide can be found at any good used book store for about $1.99 and is worth every penny.
Best of luck on the POP -- that's always gold for any GM car of the era.

The FBM has been rebound. Libraries often do that with softbound books. Also highly likely it was part of a book purge where the library sold off or disposed of older or seldom checked out books.
Still good to have.
