Road Trip

Well, after doing a motor/trans swap on my $250 98 I checked the car over. I swapped over some of the front end from another car and took it in for an allignment. That was the first time I had driven it more than around the block. It needed upper ball joints so I had them done with an allign.
Took her on a road trip.Went to BC which is 2 provinces over.1600 miles round trip. She ran like a top. Comfort and cush all the way. Plus 28 miles per gallon.(Cdn gallons) I think that's pretty good. The oil was right up.Not bad for 307 with 100k plus miles on it.What a great car.

Well, I spent $1500 on the trans rebuild when it was in the Buick but I still like to call it my $250 98. Especially when I'm getting better mileage than a couple of friends with late model cars. Give 'em a little dig...(lol)
