Richard Vanalstine

Just heads up on one of the members."OLDSMORAT"
If any of you have had the opportunity to talk to Rich Vanalstine "Oldsmorat" you would agree he is a great guy very personable.
I talk with Rich 2 or 3 times a week for the last year and a Half.
I have never met him but I feel like I have known him forever ,he has a great heart .
I recived a text message last week that he was in the hospital and he would get back with me .Its been over a week now.I have tried to contact him with out any luck.
If you have talked to Rich or dealt with him.
Whatever the situation is..
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers .
He is one of us..
Ron

I did a stint in the Navy, but years later I had to have two stents done because I developed Coronary Artery Disease. LOL

Glad you got your hard lines fixed. You aught to run better now that your getting the right amount of fuel flow. Now all you need to do is clean up the odor of your exhaust by running a little leaner

Glad your ok man

Smile Feel so much better

Today is good day for me. I can tell that i was sick. Dr. Said i was a time bomb waiting to go off. All i have to do is take it easy for a few weeks. And i can start working on my cars again. Thank you everybody for your support. Oldsmobile families need to stick together. We are a tight family with lots of pride for are cars. Even that i own a cousin 1966 ss 396 chevelle it makes a nice partner for my 1967 442. God bless all of you. Long live oldsmobile.
Much love richard

Good to know that you are on the mend. Now that the doctors have fixed you, don't miss any meds that they give you, and make sure that you eat healthy. You only get out of this life what you put into your body. Do the best that you can, and you will live a long time. Don't ever assume that whatever discomfort you have is normal, because it isn't. Get it checked out immediately. Better to have a "false alarm" than to do nothing and find out that was a really big mistake. I am a retired EMT, and I made that mistake once of ignoring what my body was telling me. Later that day, I realized that I was making a big mistake by not doing a follow up in the ER. Spent the next 3 days doing tests, and had heart surgery as a result. That was 3 years ago, and now I don't take anything for granted. I had lower abdomen pain, and they took out my gall bladder shortly thereafter. You have to learn to be your own best advocate, because the doctors can't treat you unless you present yourself to them.
Junk..
