Reverse light housing 76 Cutlass

Hey guys quick question, I decided to take apart my reverse lights after years of not working 😁 The left side is working now but on the right side the tong that makes the electrical connection to the bulb is missing. My question is do I have to replace the whole housing or can I buy something to repair it? I will attach some pictures, any help would be appreciated. If this is the wrong section to post this question please move it.

get an 1/8 in pop rivet, take out the "nail," crimp the rivet part onto the end of the wire. just did this to my 49 taillights. if you use a steel rivet, you can put a drop of solder on it

Your pictures didn't come through.
Scott Winn (Oldspackrat) is parting out a 75 Cutlass. I know it's a different back end, but maybe the connectors are the same? If not maybe he has something in his huge inventory 1975 Cutlass salon with y76 GMO option for parts or whole.

Thank you for your reply, Im pretty sure I understand what you mean. I don't get how it will stay in place? Thank you for the idea, I might have to try it!
