Posting to a related thread

Anyone else having trouble when trying to posting to a thread using a mobile Android device.

I tried the blue post button and it seems to post on whatever related thread comes up. I tried the new grey post button. Same thing.

Is there a way to not display the related thread discussions. This seems to just have started.

All the blue post reply button does is take you to the advanced posting screen. When you type your post you need to hit the "Post Quick Reply" button under the Quick reply panel or the "Submit Reply" button in the advanced Reply to Thread panel.

Eric,

What I am talking about is on my Android phone. Recently, it is doing something different. As an example, on this thread if I pull it up, I can see all the post and as I scroll down to the bottom there is the blue reply button (where I post a general reply), but it immediately changes to a related thread button before I even touch it. The screen then displays what it thinks is a related thread in this case one you originated on posting classified adds from Dec 2013. If I keep scrolling down, I can see the post in that thread. I continue scrolling down and at the bottom of the screen is the blue post reply button. I click it type and my reply post to the related thread (I.e. your Dec 2013 thread) and not to the original thread.

The only way I can currently post to a thread is to post to a previous post itself in the thread. (Like I did here.) Otherwise, I end up posting to the "related thread".

I was wondering if others were having similar problems with their Android phones.

Thanks,
Troy

So it's scrolling down into the similar threads list, say on this one it pulls up my classified guidelines? What happens if you click on the "post quick reply" button that's on the right bottom end of all the posts?

Now this is a quick reply, but it is on the full site. What I am experiencing is on the mobile site.

The mobile version is very annoying it changed and has been harder to post becasue of the whole scroll thing. I will usually post while at work and now not so much lol.

That's why we get the big bucks... I don't like the phone app, so I use the full web site view on my antique i4

I agree the mobile version is now more frustrating. Copper has it right, ok for viewing, but posting not so good.
