Restoration

Finally got my engine apart on the restoration of my 1970 W-30 4 Speed. I was 99 % sure before I opened her up - now I am 100 % that it’s a real deal, numbers matching W-30.

While your there...

While I your there could u use this unique opportunity to answer some questions?
just produced a man every RAC & oil pan 1/4 -20 fastners for his 69 H/O show car correctly marked for supplier...69 W-30s are Identical & would like to know what Ones you hav....pan bolts more likely to be original...but all should have same mark on head...interested in th four 5/16 ol pan & starter bolts also.
.did by chance it come with correct cast iron nose for manual on starter ??&
& does front end of cam hav notches or Bevel's that would not be found on other olds cams & what letter pistons did they use....
Hate to bring it up but does crank have recess for snap ring to hold pilot bearing & whats its casting #
..toros were flagship & thetefore someone lied about 70s being rated at more HP than W-30...RITE!...They aslo got A pistons fitted to A bore cylinders , _but believe Ws got lil more clearance as they are racecars...Toros got drill spot at 45° angle on web from timming plate cover to intake but never heard that Ws did...
Wow...better leave you be
If its convienent ...any such info will be logged in rocket science data bases & forever known to all that need the info
Thanks...
