Removing Power Steering Pulley and Bracket

Wondering if this has been done and what tool do you need? Looks like the tool screws in down about 1" the middle of the shaft hole and then I guess with pressure applied, it pushes up off the shaft itself? Any help would be apprecaited. I am cleaning this and the back bracket. Thanks!

Maybe, once or twice perhaps...

The first question is, do you have a pulley with a nut and keyway, or the pressed-on style? The easiest way to loosen the nut is while the pump is still on the car and the belt is tensioned. The pressed on style needs a pulley remover tool.

Removing Pulley

Looks like a pressed on one. In the center is a "hex" nut point of entry, and them threads below that, so I guess it's pressed on?

It will be pretty obvious if there's a large nut holding the pulley on the shaft. If not, you have the pressed on version. The hole in the shaft is so you can reinstall the pulley. A bolt is threaded into the hole and a nut and washer used to pull the pulley back onto the shaft.
