Removing Plastic inner fender

Need to pull a decent inner fender from a 70 Cutlass with AC. Car parked in a field. Is it easier to remove it from the engine compartment or should I go through the wheel well? Car is complete. Trying to minimize removing stuff if I don't have to.

Pull it through the wheel well. Put some PB Blaster or something like that on all the nuts you can get to because they are going to be rusty.

May also need to loosen the front fender brace so the bottom part of the fender can be moved for extra clearance.

Ali, be careful removing the bolts, it's easy to tearup the mounting holes. I've had to cutoff the bolt heads to save a good wheel well.

See if the clips holding the fender liner in, have 1/2 inch nuts trapped in the clip. If so, then have two people, one on each side of the fender, using six point socket and/or six point box wrench and loosen bolts one by one. These individuals must be able to hold their tools steady so that they don't round the nuts in the clip...it's easier if one of them has really long arms (Clyde).
