Removing 1957 Oldsmobile super 88 dashboard

Hi,

i have a 1957 Oldsmobile super 88. I wanted to remove the dashboard since it’s old. Was thinking of fiberglassing it. Does anyone know How to remove the dashboard? Is it easy to remove? Does anyone know if it is welded in or is it just a bunch of screws and bolts? Thanks

The dashboard of my 1957 super 88

Here's an illustration from my parts book ,
The second illustration seems to indicate that the dash itself is welded to , and is part of the body shell .
And everything else is disassembled from it .

Thanks for the reply. So if that is the case, how do people customize their dashboards?
