Remote oil filter

Anyone ever install a remote oil filter on their 394

I only ever used standard cartridge filters on my 64 98 with a 394. Back in the day when Fram filters didn't suck.

Why do you want to run a remote filter?

One of mine has a remote set up. It's a Eelco bolt on adapter that replaces the spin-on aluminum unit. Has two large female bungs. Then out to the commonly seen dual spin on filter housing. Has worked fine in like forever. You see these pop up on ebay but I haven't looked in a while. The Hildebrandt adapter is triangular likewise with fittings. You could make one using a gasket as a template.

Offenhauser still offers them for 303-371 - and 394 style in both bypass and block off:
