Is this a real or fake carb stamp?

Authentic carb stamp? Pick code is pretty faint but appears correct.

I am by no means an expert at this, but I don't see anything that jumps out at me as looking questionable. I don't see any tell-tales like an "edge" or seam between natural finish VS "too polished" areas. I have no idea, whereas others do, of what types of "specialized" carbs may have been built in what time frames.

As with anything, the fakers are getting better and better at doing it. However, I don't see anything that jumps out at me either. The 2440 is a bit further toward the top than another real one I've seen, but it too had a little bit "deeper" 0 for the year on the end of it. correct font, size and straight, so unless someone sees something else I'm not, I'm leaning to legit stamping.
