Is this real?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-...item27ba6b6b8f

This ad says

"This is a RARE and ORIGINAL 1970 Oldsmobile Holiday Coupe 442 W30"

Could a car be a Holiday Coupe and a W-30? I thought one or the other?

I believe "Holiday" was just Oldsmobile's word for "Hardtop."

Others may know more...

Yes, Holiday just meant hardtop. There's no reason the W-30 option, which had to do with the engine, couldn't have been ordered on a hardtop.

Sure looks like a real w-30 to me.

Holiday is the term Olds used for the non-post hardtop body style.

Nice car!

Yeah the post coupes are termed "sport coupe". The only ways this for sure would be wrong would be if it was a supreme or built anywhere but Lansing.

EDIT: This drives me NUTS!!! Re-spray = replaced the fenders in this case.

The 4 4 2 emblems are too far apart and not straight to boot. I HATE that.

and the stripes are not quite right, too big a gap between them and the small stripe looks too thin. Funny though how we can tell the 442 isn't correct, mostly because it doesn't look quite right when done correct either... the fours always seem to be too close to me.
